Risk Radar X

  1. Stage Closing Orders

Closing Orders for an entire account can now be staged in the Basket Trader directly from the Risk Radar X module.

Right-click the account row in the upper section of Risk Radar X

Select Open > Basket Trader (Stage closing orders)

A new Basket Trader Module will open and load with all the current closing positions for the selected account.

Note: This will not automatically send closing orders upon dropping into the Basket Trader Module. You will still be able to modify the queued orders and then send individually or all at once.

For more information about the Basket Trader Module please see the Basket Trader Manual.

  2. Right-click to open order tickets

In the lower section of Risk Radar X you can now launch order tickets for selected security through the right-click menu.

When right-clicking on the summary line:

If a position exists in the underlying security, the ticket will load the appropriate closing order details for that underlying, else it will load the default settings for the ticket selected.

    When right-clicking a specific security:

The ticket will load the appropriate closing order details for that security

Basket Trader - Added Drag and Drop Functionality

The ability to drag and drop positions from the Portfolio Module to the Basket Trader has been added.

When a position is dragged to the Basket Trader Module from the Portfolio screen, the offsetting position will display in the Basket Trader Module. (E.g. Long 100 MSFT in Portfolio will drop into the Basket Trader as SELL 100 MSFT)

This feature is very useful when you want to create a bulk order queue to close out multiple positions in your portfolio*. The positions will remain visible in your Portfolio after dragging to the Basket Trader Module.

Dragging Single Positions:

Left-click, hold, and drag an individual position (row) from the Portfolio Module and drop it onto the blank space on the Basket Trader Module

Queuing Multiple Positions:

Shift+Left-click to select multiple rows in succession

Ctrl+Left-click to select multiple rows not in succession

Left-click, hold, and drag the selection from the Portfolio Module and drop it onto the blank space on the Basket Trader Module.

*Note: This will not automatically send closing orders upon dropping into the Basket Trader Module. You will still be able to modify the queued orders and then send individually or all at once.

For more information about the Basket Trader Module please see the Basket Trader Manual.
