Option Chain Position Summary Fields

Position summary lines, listed by expiration, have been added to the upper portion of the Option Chain module.

For the underlying symbol that is loaded into the Option Chain module, the summary lines display Net Greeks, P&L, and Premium for the underlying (if applicable) and each expiration cycle in which you have open positions.

Note: The position summary line will appear only if you have an open position for the loaded underlying symbol.

Book Trader - Stop and Stop Limit Orders Added

Stop and Stop Limit orders have been added to the Book Trader module.

Stop Orders

Press the Ctrl (control) key and right-click in the Bid column to place a Buy Stop order.

Press the Ctrl (control) key and right-click in the Ask column to place a Sell Stop order.

Stop orders that are live are signified with an "S" suffix in their respective Buys or Sells column.

Example (as illustrated above):

0/1 S at the 1,151.50 price level = Number of filled shares/contracts (0) out of the total quantity sent (1); the "S" signifies that it is a Stop order at the 1,151.50 price level. This order will become a Buy @ Market order if the Stop price is reached by the underlying.

Changing the Stop Price of Stop Orders

  1. Click and drag the order quantity field (e.g. '0/1 S' in the above figure) to the new price row in the same column.
  2. Change the Stop price in the Working Orders section of the Order Book module

Stop Limit Orders

Right-click and drag in the Bid column to place a Buy Stop Limit order.

Right-click and drag in the Ask column to place a Sell Stop Limit order.

The first price that is clicked is the Stop price; the second price that you drag the highlight zone to is the Limit price.

Stop Limit orders that are live are signified with an "SL" suffix in their respective Buys or Sells column.

Example (as illustrated above):

0/1 SL at the 1,153.00 price level = Number of filled shares/contracts (0) out of the total quantity sent (1); the "SL" signifies that it is a Stop Limit order. The Stop Price is 1,153.00 (the first price clicked) and the Limit price is 1,153.50 (the second price we dragged to and released). This order will become a Buy Limit @ 1,153.50 if the Stop price is reached by the underlying.

Changing the Stop Price of Stop Limit Orders

  1. Click and vertically drag the order quantity field (e.g. '0/1 SL' in the above figure) to the new price row.
  2. Change the Stop price in the Working Orders section of the Order Book module

Changing the Limit Price of Stop Limit Orders

The Limit price on Stop Limit Orders cannot be modified in the Book Trader, but can be modified in the Price field of the Working Orders section of the Order Book module.

Book Trader - Marketable Limit Order Confirmation Added

A setting to display a confirmation window for marketable Limit orders has been added to the Book Trader module. This is a separate setting than the normal order confirmation and can be toggled on/off in the Settings menu. The purpose is to prevent accidental Limit orders (left-click) from being placed if the intention is to place a Stop or Stop Limit order (Ctrl + right-click; right-click and drag, respectively).

Note: This confirmation will show only if the Show Order Entry Confirm is unchecked in the Settings menu for the Book Trader module. The Show Order Entry Confirm window takes precedence.
