User Interface

Obsidian offers a highly flexible UI that allows you to quickly customize the platform to your needs and filter data based on your preferences to display only what is important to you

Quick Filter

The Quick Filter can be found in every module in Obsidian that displays data in a grid like fashion.
For example, let's look at the Order Book. After a busy trading day you have traded a lot of stock and options in various underlyings and are now interested to e.g. review your trading activity in the underlying "AAPL".

To get to the data you are interested, simply hover the column that you want to filter by, click on the litte funnel icon that appears and select the underlying "AAPL". You can find this filtering functionality throughout Obsidian. Other common uses are e.g. in the Portfolio, when you want to look at Options with a certain expiration date only, look only at positions with a certain delta, etc. The possibilities are virtually unlimited.

Grouping

Many modules in Obsidian allow you to group the data they display. For example, the Option Chain allows you to group the options by expiration date or strikes, in the Portfolio you can group by underlyings, expiration, etc.
