Order Controls

Obsidian offers a variety of order entry modules that allow fast and powerful interaction with the market.

Order Ticket

Our standard Order Ticket control is your quicky and easy interface to the market. It displays the relevant Level 1 data and let's you specify various settings for your orders.

Depth Ticket

Our Depth Ticket Control is an expansion of the standard Order Ticket control and will show you full Level 2 Depth and/or regional quotes. Optionally, you can also display real-time Time & sales alongside the Depth Ticket.

Book Trader

Our Book Trader control, display prices in a vertical ladder and let's you quickly place/replace/cancel your orders at the click of a mouse button. This highly popular module amongst futures traders not only works with futures though, as Obsidian allows you trade any product with it. So, you want to trade your Options from the Book Trader, no problem at all!

Complex Order Ticket

Our Complex Order Ticket leverages the functionality provided by the CBOE, ISE & PHLX option exchanges. It sends a multi-leg order to the exchange where that order is treated as one order.

Spread Maker

Our Spread Maker module is proprietary to Obsidian. This module allows you to "work" 2 legs simultaneously in the market place, by leaning on bids and offer and thus providing you with price improvements over market prices.

Algorithmic Order Ticket

Our Algorithmic Order Ticket allows you to trade multiple equity strategies, conveniently from one ticket. Strategies currently supported include: VWAP, VWAP+, TWAP, Multifactor Optimization, Rapid, Synthetic Peg, Rapid Dark, Volume Participation, Implementation Shortfall, Flexible Participation
